Maroondah is located 26 to 34 kilometers east of the center of Melbourne north of Dandenong Creek and contains eleven districts: Bayswater North, Croydon, Croydon Hills, Croydon North, Croydon South, Heathmont, Kilsyth South, Ringwood, Ringwood East, Ringwood North and Warranwood. The seat of the City Council is located in Ringwood on the western border of the LGA.
