Couffy-sur-Sarsonne

Couffy -sur- Sarsonne ( Confin in Occitan ) is a commune with 74 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Pays d' Eygurande.

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin on the right bank of the Sarsonne, a tributary of the Diège.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 85 kilometers south-west, Ussel about 15 kilometers south of Clermont -Ferrand, about 80 kilometers east.

Neighboring communities of Couffy -sur- Sarsonne are Saint -Martial- le -Vieux in the north, Lamazière -Haute in the east, Aix (Corrèze ) in the southeast, Saint- Fréjoux in the south, Ussel in the southwest, Courteix in the southwest and Saint- Rémy in the Northwest.

Traffic

The village is located about 13 kilometers northwest of the junction 24 of the A89 autoroute.
