The Concours 32 Euro Vision Song Contest, the official title this year, took place on May 9, 1987 at Palais du Centenaire in Brussels. Italy and Greece took part again.
For the second time Germany took the wind group, titled Let the sunshine in your heart in part, of the landed again on the 2nd place. Unlike For all of 1985, coming from Hanne Haller wrote this post Ralph Siegel and Bernd Meinunger. Switzerland was with Carol and Rich Moitié - Moitié only 17, Gary Lux achieved with only feeling only the 20th Place for Austria.
Special
The number of participants of 22 set a new record dar. The Irishman Johnny Logan won for the second time since 1980 - a one-time process to date. This time the singer has the song, Hold Me Now, also written himself. In return, Turkey reached despite an exciting dance routine just the twenty-second and thus, in the course and with zero points. The song of the host, Soldiers of Love by Liliane Saint- Pierre, came with eleventh place just in the top half. On a rotational basis, it was sung in Dutch after the winner song J'aime la vie by Sandra Kim was presented in French in the previous year. Sandra Kim also appeared to the finals and presented the award.
