Fred Alderman

Fred Alderman ( Alderman Frederick Pitt, * June 24, 1905 in Lansing, Michigan, † 15 September 1998 in Social Circle, Georgia ) was an American sprinter who was successful in the late 1920s in the 400 -meter run. His special line was the 400 meters. He started for the University of Michigan.

Achievements

His success were the years 1927 and 1928.

In the individual race, he was not at the start.

At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 of the 91 -year-old Alderman was one of the torchbearers.
