Hot District

Amphoe Hot ( in Thai: อำเภอ ฮอด ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southern part of the province of Chiang Mai. The Chiang Mai province is located in the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): the Amphoe Mae Chaem and Chom Thong Chiang Mai province, Ban Hong and Li Lamphun Province, Doi Tao, Omkoi also from the province of Chiang Mai, and Sop Moei and Mae Sariang Province Mae Hong Son

Management

The circle is divided into six subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 60 villages ( Muban ).

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

• Tha Kham covers parts of tambon Don slope.
• Hang Dong also consists of parts of this Tambon.

In addition, there are six " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
