Kruishoutem is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 8117 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It consists of the main town and the municipal districts Lozer, Nokere and Wannegem - Lede.

Oudenaarde is located 7 kilometers (km) south-east, 20 km northeast of Ghent, Kortrijk and Brussels 20 km southwest about 60 km to the east.

Kruishoutem has a motorway at the A14/E17.

In Waregem, Deinze, Zingem and Oudenaarde are the next regional stations in Ghent and also keep on regional express trains.

In the French city of Lille is a regional airport near the capital Brussels there is an international airport.
