Kut Khaopun District
Amphoe Kut Khaopun ( Thai: อำเภอ กุดข้าวปุ้น ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Ubon Ratchathani. The Ubon Ratchathani Province is located in the northeastern region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
Neighboring districts are ( from northeast clockwise): Amphoe the Khemarat, Pho Sai and Trakan Phuet Phon Ubon Ratchathani province, as well as Amphoe Pathum Ratchawongsa Amnat Charoen Province.
History
The sub-district ( King Amphoe ) Kut Khaopun was formed on 12 July 1971, the four Tambon Khaopun, Ka Bin, Kaeng Kheng and Non Sawang, which were separated from the county Trakan Phuet Phon. On March 25, 1979, he got the full Amphoe status.
Administrative units
Amphoe Kut Khaopun is divided into five communities ( tambon), which in turn in 73 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
Kut Khaopun ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล กุดข้าวปุ้น ) itself has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon), it consists of parts of the tambon Kut Khaopun.
There are also five administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
