Lars Erik Eriksen

Lars Erik Frederiksen ( born December 29, 1954 in Oslo ) is a retired Norwegian cross-country skier.

Eriksen won at Nordic World Ski Championships in 1982 with the Norwegian team gold medal in the relay competition. About 30 kilometers he could fight for the bronze medal and the silver medal over 50 kilometers. Previously, he had in 1978 with the team the bronze medal and 1980 can win the silver medal.

At the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, he again won the silver medal with the Norwegian team.

Before the introduction of cross-country skiing World Cup 1982 took Eriksen 1978 and 1979 second place in the unofficial World Cup overall standings. In 1980 he was again third. Eriksen won the 1984 World Cup his only competition in Lahti, Finland. There he won ahead of Thomas Wassberg over the 15-kilometer distance.

Eriksen was in 1984 awarded the Holmenkollen medal.
