Los Alamos County, New Mexico

Los Alamos County is a county located in the state of New Mexico in the United States. The only city in the county and the county seat ( county seat ) is Los Alamos.

Geography

With an area of ​​283 square kilometers, the County is the smallest in the state. At the County borders the Santa Clara Indian Reservation, the San Ildefonson Indian Reservation and the Bandelier National Monument. The county is bordered clockwise to the counties: Rio Arriba County, Santa Fe County and Sandoval County.

The average age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 101.40 males to 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.70 males.

The median income for a household was $ 78,993, and the median income for a family was $ 90,032. Males have a median income of $ 70,063, women $ 40,246.
