Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire ( pron. - hamschir, Notts ) is a county in the central England with almost 1.1 million inhabitants. Administrative center is the city of Nottingham. Nottinghamshire borders South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
Nottinghamshire has the following districts: Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Broxtowe, Gedling, Mansfield, Newark and Sherwood, and Rushcliffe. The City of Nottingham was until 1998 a part of the county, but has since become an independent city circle ( Unitary Authority).
