Pérols-sur-Vézère

Pérols -sur -Vézère ( perols de Vesera in Occitan ) is a commune with 188 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Bugeat - Sornac - Millevaches au Coeur. The inhabitants call themselves Pérolais (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin. The Vézère forms the border between the municipalities and Bugeat Pérols -sur -Vézère. Furthermore, flow through three tributaries of the Vézère the municipality: the Ars and the Corrèze, the latter also arises here.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 55 kilometers south-west, Égletons about 30 kilometers south and Ussel about 36 kilometers southeast.

Neighboring communities of Pérols -sur -Vézère are Saint- Merd -les- Oussines in the north, Meymac in the northeast, Ambrugeat in the east, the south and Bonnefond Bugeat in the West.

The Lac de Viam is located about 9 km west of Pérols -sur -Vézère.

The village is located approximately 33 kilometers northwest of the easy exit 22 of the A89 autoroute.
