PFA Scotland Players' Player of the Year

The title of Player of the Year is awarded in Scotland by two different organizations. The Scottish football journalists awarded annually since 1965, the award " Scottish Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year". The members of the Scottish professional footballer 'union PFA determine since 1978 the title of " Scottish PFA Players' Player of the Year."

Both titles can be active at all in the Scottish Premier League players - will be awarded - not only on bulkheads. The Journalist Award is generally regarded as superior, but especially among the football players themselves, the award has by fellow players a higher weight.
