Pradines, Corrèze

Pradines ( Pradinas in Occitan ) is a commune of 105 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Bugeat - Sornac - Millevaches au Coeur. The inhabitants call themselves Pradinois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin, and is crossed by the Corrèze de Pradines, a right tributary of the Corrèze and the Douyge that arises here.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 35 km south-west slightly, Égletons about 17 kilometers south-east and Ussel about 50 kilometers north-east.

Neighboring communities of Pradines are Gourdon -Murat in the north, Bonnefond in the northeast, Grandsaigne the southeast, Chaumeil in the south, the west and Veix Lestards in the northwest.

The Lac de Viam is located about 15 km northwest of Grandsaigne easily.

Traffic

The village is located about 20 kilometers northwest of the exit 22 of the A89 autoroute.
