Rialto, Liguria

Rialto ( in Ligurian: Riaoto ) is a municipality with 542 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Savona.

Geography

Rialto is located in the hinterland of Finale Ligure, at the headwaters of the Rio Pora. The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana Pollupice and is about 35 kilometers from the provincial capital Savona.

According to the Italian classifications for seismic activity, the community of zone 4 was assigned. This means that Rialto is located in a seismically inert zone.

Climate
