Geographical Location
Setzingen lies on the southern slope of the Swabian Alb on the edge of Lonetals, about 5 kilometers north of Langenau and 20 kilometers north-east of Ulm.
Neighboring communities
The municipality is bordered to the north by the Hausen district of the city Herbrechtingen in Heidenheim district, on the east by Öllingen, to the south and to the west by Nerenstetten ball village.
History
Setzingen is mentioned for the first time in 1143 as belonging to the monastery Anhausen an der Brenz.
