Geographical location

Untermarchtal located on a Jurassic plate at the foot of the Swabian Alb, on both sides of the Danube.

Neighboring communities

The municipality is bordered to the south and west by Obermarchtal, on the northwest by Lauterach, on the north by the town of Ehingen (Donau) and the east by the city Munderkingen, also belongs to the administrative community Untermarchtal.

Traffic
