Sylt Air

Sylt Air is a German airline based in Tinnum and base on the island of Sylt Airport.

History

The aerospace company founded by Ulrich Schreiber as Fries flight in Rendsburg in 1963 was active in seaside resorts and charter air service and demand flights.

When the Polish pilot Kasimir Samp and his wife Ursula in 1978 sylter flight operations took over, the fleet was expanded and established a fixed line connection between Sylt and Hamburg. In 1998, the frieze flight was sold to the 1992 Aero Line GmbH was founded in Berlin (which in 1993 the flight school Sylt Westerland took over from ) the entrepreneur Peter Siemiatkowski, which in 1994 moved its headquarters to Sylt.

2001 flight school and flight Fries were combined and renamed Sylt Air. The company operates a severance and administration building at Sylt airport.

Destinations

In the summer months Sylt Air flies twice daily from Sylt Airport to Hamburg and also leads year-round European charter flights.
