U.S. Route 46

U.S. Highway 46 ( U.S. 46 short ) is a United States highway in the United States. The highway begins at Interstate 80 and the New Jersey State Route 94 in Columbia, New Jersey and ends after 121 kilometers in Fort Lee at the Interstate 95 and U.S. Highways 1 and 9

The highway also carries the name of United Spanish War Veterans Memorial Highway, which the Spanish-American War to be remembered.

Course

From the intersection with the I- 80 and NJ 94 U.S. 46 runs parallel to the Delaware River in the south. After the city Belvidere was passed, it leads to the east and meets at the White Township to the New Jersey State Route 31 as well as in Hackettstown on the New Jersey State Route 182 on the city of Netcong, the highway crosses twice the Interstate 80 as well as in the city center U.S. Highway 206 He now runs parallel to I-80 and meets in Roxbury Township on the New Jersey State Route 10 and at Dover on State Route 15

In the north of Parsippany - Troy Hills of U.S. Highway 46 meets Interstate 287 and U.S. Highway 202 in Wayne Highway from the New Jersey State Route 23 and crossed in Clifton from the toll Garden State Parkway. In the center of Clifton also branches off State Route 3.
