Graniti
Graniti is a city in the province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, with 1514 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Location and data
Graniti located 65 km southwest of Messina. The inhabitants mainly work in agriculture. Crops grown vines, olives and fruit.
The neighboring municipalities are Roccafiorita, Antillo, Castiglione di Sicilia ( CT), Gaggi, Mongiuffi Melia and Motta Camastra.
History
The town was founded by the Arabs. In the Middle Ages the town was under feudal rule. In 1639, it was independent of Taormina.
