Thaden

Thaden is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Batz, Jarsdorf, Katz Heath and Easter Wood pond lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Thaden is located about 25 km southeast of heather in a rural setting. North of the village runs the North Sea-Baltic Canal, about 11 km south of State Road 430 in Neumünster Meldorf direction and about 12 km south-west, the Federal Highway 23 from Hamburg to Heath.

Policy

Of the nine available seats in the municipal council voters Community KWG holds all the seats since the municipal election of 2013.

Economy

The municipality is structured agricultural. There are several clubs such as a gymnastics club a fishing club and nature club.
