2013–14 Euroleague

The 2013/14 season is the 14th season of the ULEB Euro League ( officially Turkish Airlines Euro League), the most important club competition in European basketball. First, a qualifying tournament was held between October 4, 2013 from 1. The main round began on October 17, 2013, and ends with the Final Four in May 2014 in Milan.

Mode

Of the 24 participating in the Euro League teams are 23 directly qualified for the group stage, another court participation has been played in an additional qualifying round.

The 24 teams were divided into four groups of six teams, each team one home and away game against every other team in the round robin tournament mode (English round robin ) denies. The top four teams from each group will be allocated into two groups, the second group phase, in which each also denies each team a home and away game against every other team. The top-ranked four teams in the second group stage qualify for the knockout stage, which is played as a play-off in the " Best-of -Five" mode. Quarterfinals

In the mode " Best-of -Five" enter the remaining eight teams into four team matches against each other. The group winners and runners-up of the second phase of enjoying at a possibly needed fifth playoff home advantage. The four teams that decide these duels in itself, qualify for the Final Four tournament. The games will be held until April 25, 2014 15.

Final Four

In a tournament that will be held between the 16th and 18th May 2014 for the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, will occur, two teams in the semi-finals against each other. The winners qualify for the finals, which shows the winner of the ULEB Euro League.
