2013 Brasil Open

The Brasil Open 2013 was a tennis tournament, which took place in São Paulo on 11 to 17 February 2013. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2013 and was held in the hall on sand. In the same week were played in San Jose SAP Open in Rotterdam ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament as well. The latter included just like the Brasil Open to Category ATP World Tour 250, while the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament belonged to Category ATP World Tour 500.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.

In individual Nicolás Almagro was defending champion, but he retired in the quarterfinals against eventual finalist David Nalbandian in three sets of. This lost the final against Rafael Nadal with 2:6 and 3:6. In the doubles competition was last year's winner Bruno Soares - then with Eric Butorac - win with Alexander Peya against the duo Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertiňák with 6:75, 6:2 and [ 10:7 ].
