2013 Swiss Indoors

The Swiss Indoors Basel 2013 was a tennis tournament, which took place in Basel from 21 to 27 October 2013. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2013 and was held in the indoor hard courts. In the same week the Valencia Open 500 were played in Valencia, who scored just like the Swiss Indoors Basel to Category ATP World Tour 500. The venue of the tournament was the St. James Hall, which is just behind the Basel city limits in Munich stone.

The Argentine Juan Martín del Potro was able to defend his title last year with confidence. In the final he again met on the local hero Roger Federer, whom he defeated in three sets. In the current year, this was his fourth title and his 17th title overall in his career. In doubles, won last year's Canadian Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbian the title.
