2013 Heineken Open

The Heineken Open 2013 was a tennis tournament, which was held in Auckland from 7 to 13 January 2013. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2013 and was held outdoors on hard court. In the same week the Apia International Sydney were played in Sydney, which included just like the Heineken Open to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Last year's winner David Ferrer successfully defended his title successfully. In the battle of the two top seeds he beat Philipp Kohlschreiber in straight sets with 7:65 and 6:1. Ferrer was thus able to win in Auckland for the fourth time, even three times in a row. In doubles, the Austrian duo Oliver Marach and Alexander Peya won the tournament last year. This year Colin Fleming and Bruno Soares won in straight sets against Johan Frederik Nielsen and Brunström. For both it was their first title together on the ATP Tour.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.
