Blue Sky with a White Sun

The coat of arms of the Republic of China ( Taiwan) in use since 1928. It consists of a blue disk, in which a white sun is. From this sun go down from 12 rays. These twelve rays representing the twelve months of the year and the 12 traditional Chinese hours of which corresponds to a two of us known hours. The sun is a symbol for freedom. The white and blue colors are available for two of the Three Principles of the People - promoting prosperity and democracy.
