Chameyrat

Chameyrat is a commune with 1582 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Tulle et Cœur de Corrèze.

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central about ten kilometers southwest of Tulle, prefecture of the department, removed.

Neighboring municipalities are in the north Naves, in the northeast Tulle, in the east of Sainte- Fortunade, in the south Cornil, in the southwest of Saint- Hilaire- Peyroux, in the west Favars and to the northwest of Saint- Mexant.
