Latronche
Latronche (La tronca in Occitan ) is a commune with 153 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Gorges de la Haute Dordogne.
Geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central, about three kilometers west of the Dordogne, and is surrounded by extensive forests.
Tulle, prefecture of the department is located approximately 50 kilometers west and Égletons about 25 kilometers north-west and Ussel about 30 kilometers north-east.
Neighboring communities of Latronche are Neuvic the north and east, in the southeast Chalvignac, Soursac in the south, Saint- Pantaleon -de- Lapleau in the west and Saint- Hilaire- Luc in the northwest.
