Saint-Hilaire-les-Courbes

Saint- Hilaire- les- Courbes ( Sent Alari de las Corbas in Occitan ) is a commune of 157 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Vézère Monedieres. The inhabitants are called Saint- Hilairois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin. The village is located about seven kilometers east of Lac de Viam.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 45 kilometers south, Limoges approximately 65 kilometers north-west and Treignac about eleven kilometers south-west.

The village lies about 40 kilometers northeast of the exit 44 of the A20 Motorway.

Neighboring municipalities of Saint- Hilaire- les- Courbes are Lacelle in the north, Viam in the east, in the southeast Lestards, Treignac in the south and Cham Beret in the West.
