Saint-Julien-aux-Bois
Saint- Julien- aux- Bois is a commune with 496 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Canton de Saint-Privat.
Geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central in the heart of Xaintrie, northwest of the reservoir of Enchanet ( frz: Barrage d' Enchanet ) and is traversed by the Maronne. Tulle, prefecture of the department, is located about 40 kilometers north-west and south-west, as well as Argentat 20 km Aurillac in the Cantal about 45 kilometers southeast.
Neighboring municipalities of Saint- Julien- aux- Bois are Auriac in the north, Rilhac- Xaintrie in the northeast, Pleaux in the east, Cros -de- Monvert in the south, Saint- Cirgues- la- Loutre in the southwest as well as Saint- Eulalie - ô - Merle, Saint-Privat in the west and Darazac in the northwest.
