Gros-Chastang
Gros- Chastang is a commune of 172 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Doustre et plateau of Étangs. The inhabitants call themselves Gros- Chastagniers ( ières ).
Geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central. The prefecture of the department of Tulle is located approximately 29 kilometers north-west and 26 km north Égletons.
Neighboring communities of Gros- Chastang are Marcillac la Croisille in the northeast, Bassignac -le-Haut in the Southeast, Saint- Martin-la- Méanne in the south, La Roche- Canillac the southwest, Gumond in the west and Saint- Pardoux- la- Croisille in the northwest.
