Monceaux-sur-Dordogne

Monceaux- sur -Dordogne is a commune with 664 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Pays d' Argentat. The inhabitants call themselves Moncellois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the right bank of the Dordogne. The prefecture of the department of Tulle is located some 25 kilometers north-west and Argentat 4 km to the east.

Neighboring communities of Monceaux- sur -Dordogne are Neuville in the north, Argentat to the east, La Chapelle -Saint- Geraud in the southeast, and Reygade Bassignac- le -Bas in the south, Chenailler - Mascheix in the southwest as well as Saint- Hilaire- Taurieux in the West.
