Espartignac

Espartignac ( Espartinhac in Occitan ) is a commune with 411 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Pays d' Uzerche. The inhabitants call themselves Espartignacois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central at the foot of the Plateau de Millevaches left side on the upper reaches of the Vézère.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 25 kilometers south-east, Brive- la -Gaillarde about 35 kilometers southwest and Uzerche located four kilometers north-west slightly. The village is located about four kilometers away from the exit 45 of the A20 Motorway.

History
