Vitrac-sur-Montane
Vitrac- sur- Montane is a commune with 255 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Tulle et Cœur de Corrèze.
Geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central on a river Montane, in the southern part of the Plateau de Millevaches and is surrounded by extensive forests. The prefecture of the department of Tulle is located about 23 kilometers south-west. The Autoroute A89 crosses the southeastern part of the community.
Neighboring communities of Vitrac- sur- Montane are Sarran in the north, Rosiers- d'Égletons in the east, the south and Eyrein Corrèze in the West.
