Erin Cafaro

Erin Cafaro ( born June 9, 1983 in Modesto ) is an American rower, she was Olympic champion in eighth and World Champion in three different boat classes.

Cafaro began in 2001 at the University of California with the rowing. In 2005 she won the four without coxswain at the U23 World Championships. In 2006, she rowed at the World Cup in Lucerne with the U.S. eight to second place in the World Championships in Eton, she won along with Portia McGee, Esther Lofgren and Rachel Jeffers the bronze medal in the four without coxswain. In 2007, she erruderte with the roller in Lucerne her first World Cup victory. At the World Championships in Munich, she was back in four without, who won the world title in the cast Portia McGee, Erin Cafaro, Rachel Jeffers and Megan Dirkmaat. After the eighth victory in the World Cup 2008 in Lucerne Cafaro remained for the Olympic Games in Beijing in U.S. aft, in the occupation of Erin Cafaro, Lindsay Shoop, Anna Goodale, Elle Logan, Anna Cummins, Zsuzsanna Francia, Caroline Lind, Caryn Davies and coxswain Mary Whipple won the gold medal.

Erin Cafaro 2009, launched at the World Cup in Lucerne, two boat classes: With the aft they took second place in the two control without woman she came along with Mara Allen finish line in fifth. At the World Championships in Poznan she won with Zsuzsanna Francia in two without, both sat in the successful eighth. Cafaro 2010 occurred only at the World Cup in Lucerne in the aft, otherwise they rowed along with Francia in uncontrolled two. At the 2010 World Championships on New Zealand's North Island, the two occupied the third place. 2011 Erin Cafaro won once more with the roller in Lucerne, but did not participate in the World Championships. 2012 Cafaro rowed in the first two World Cup regattas along with Elle Logan in two to second place behind the British women Helen Glover and Heather Stanning. At the Olympic Games in London Cafaro was back in the U.S. eight, who won the gold medal in the cast Erin Cafaro, Zsuzsanna Francia, Esther Lofgren, Taylor pinion, Meghan Musnicki, Elle Logan, Caroline Lind, Caryn Davies and Mary Whipple.
