Goran Ivanisevic Simun [ ɡɔran iʋani ʃɛʋitɕ ː ] (* September 13, 1971 in Split, Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian tennis player.

Life

Goran is the son of Srdjan Ivanisevic and Gorana (born Skaricic ). Ivanisevic won in 1987 at the site of Diego Nargiso the doubles final the junior competition of the U.S. Open and was the following year professional tennis player. In 1990, he reached the semifinals of Wimbledon at the age of 18 years. Two years later he reached the final, where he failed in five sets to Andre Agassi.
