Görlitz (district)

The district Görlitz ( Upper Sorbian Wokrjes Zhorjelc ) is the easternmost district of Saxony and Germany. History

The district Görlitz was founded during the Saxon district reform on 1 August 2008, when the Lower Silesian Upper Lusatia ( NOL ), the district-free city of Görlitz and the county Lobau -Zittau were merged.
