Harima Province
The Harima Province (Japanese播 磨 国, Harima no kuni, also Banshu (播 州) was an old province of Japan on the island of Honshu, in the southwest part of present-day Hyogo Prefecture.
Harima bordered by the provinces of Inaba, Tajima, Tamba, Settsu, Bizen and Mimasaka. The capital was Himeji.
In the Edo period was the fief ako, from which came the 47 Ronin, part of Harima.
