Herselt is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 14,399 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It consists of the main town and the village of Ramsel.

Turnhout is located 30 kilometers to the north, Antwerp 37 km north-west of Brussels and about 42 kilometers south-west.

The next highway exits are located to the north near Herentals and Geel at the A13 / E 313 and south in Aarschot and Tielt- Winge on the A2.

In Herentals, Heist -op -den-Berg and Aarschot offers the nearest regional stations.

Antwerp airport is the nearest regional airport and the Brussels National Airport near the capital Brussels is of international importance.
