Hulshout is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 10,061 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It consists of the main town and the two districts Houtvenne and Westmeerbeek.

Aarschot is located nine kilometers south, 30 kilometers north of Turnhout, Antwerp 32 km north-west of Brussels and about 40 kilometers south-west.

The next highway exits are located in the south near Aarschot on the A2 and in the north near Herentals on the A13 / E 313

In Heist -op -den-Berg, Aarschot and Herentals are the next regional stations.
