Nijlen is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 22 065 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012).

Geography

The community is located near the town of Lier Nijlen few km south of the Albert Canal.

Antwerp is situated 18 kilometers north-west, Mechlin 20 kilometers southwest and Brussels, about 40 kilometers south-west.
