Mazda R100
The Mazda R100 (name in Japan: Mazda Familia Presto Rotary ) was a 1968-1973 built small 2 2 seater coupe from the Japanese manufacturer Mazda.
At R100 it was an otherwise technically unchanged Mazda 1000/1300 (in Japan Familia called ) in coupe version, powered by Mazda rotary engine type 0820 from the Mazda 110 S Cosmo the second series, but here with a single carburetor only 74 kW ( 100 hp ) came. Apart from the engine was the technology of the car with a rear live axle, rear drum brakes, etc. very conventional.
The R100 was ( especially in France ), but not offered in Japan, the USA and in some European markets in Germany.
