Montegrosso Pian Latte

Monte Grosso Pian Latte ( in Ligurian: Muntegrùssu ) is a municipality with 123 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the northern Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Imperia.

Geography

Monte Grosso Pian Latte is located on a narrow terrace at the foot of the 1882 meter high Mount Monega. The 721 meter high church dominates the upper part of the Valle Arroscia.

The embossed on agriculture Monte Grosso is popular with nature lovers and has numerous apartments. Several trails allow walking, hiking or excursions by mountain bike. In winter, ski touring is possible in the higher, northern zones.

Monte Grosso Pian Latte is part of the Alta Valle Arroscia and is about 30 kilometers from the provincial capital of Imperia.
