Northamptonshire
Northamptonshire [ nɔ θæmptənʃə ː ] (abbreviated Northants ) is a county ( County) in Central England. Northamptonshire borders with Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire ( with Peterborough ), Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire ( including Milton Keynes ), Oxfordshire and with a very short boundary ( 19 meters) in Lincolnshire. The administrative headquarters is located in Northampton.
The Soke of Peterborough was formerly part of Northamptonshire.
