Geography

The village lies on a plateau of southern Islek in the South Eifel. To Oberpierscheid include the districts Philip Weiler, Walzenack, Röllersdorf and Luppertseifen.

History

The area of Oberpierscheid was probably inhabited in Roman times, which suggest grave finds from this period.
