Portuguese motorcycle Grand Prix

The Grand Prix of Portugal for Motorcycles is a motorcycle race that was first held in 1987 and is one of continuous use for motorcycle world championship since 2000. It takes place at the Circuito do Estoril, near Estoril.

The first Portuguese Grand Prix was held in 1987 at the Circuito del Jarama in Spain. In the 1998 season, should the Portuguese Grand Prix held at the Circuito do Estoril. Since the track was not homologated by the FIM, the Grand Prix was canceled and replaced by the Grand Prix of Madrid at the Circuito del Jarama.

Since the 2000 season, the race is now held annually at the Circuito do Estoril.
