Ringo Starr: Live at Soundstage is the twenty-sixth album, or the ninth live album by Ringo Starr after the breakup of the Beatles. It was released on 27 October 2007 in the United States. In Germany and the UK, the album did not appear. It could not place in the charts in the U.S..

Genesis

After the release of the studio album Choose Love in July 2005, Ringo Starr went with his group The Roundheads on promotional tour. In 2005, Ringo Starr was not on tour with the All- Starr Band.

On 25 August 2005, the concert at The Genesee Theatre in Waukegan (USA) was recorded and released as the fifth Ringo Starr CD by Koch over two years later. It is the fifth album, Mark Hudson and Ringo Starr produced together, and the second live album by VH1 Storytellers in which Ringo Starr sings all the songs. At the concert, but also sang as a guest musician Colin Hay three songs, one of them, Who Can It Be Now, was on the DVD Soundstage: Ringo Starr released and the Roundheads.

The concert was given under the PBS concert series titled Soundstage. The songs that were located on the CD all by Ringo Starr sang and career across, so the song Boys with the Beatles in 1963 has been released and the newest song, Choose Love, appeared in 2005.
