Rütschelen

Rütschelen is a municipality in the Oberaargau the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Under the name Rütschelen exists alongside the community of a civic community.

Geography

Rütschelen located in the Upper Aargau in the Swiss Mittelland. It lies in a valley and is surrounded by the northern hills. The highest is the Dornegggütsch 739 m. ü. M. The neighboring municipalities are Lotzwil, Madiswil, Ochlenberg and lead stream.

History

The first mention of Rütschelen dates from the year 1273 as Ruschole.
