Schuyler County (New York)
Schuyler County is a county located in the state of New York in the United States. In the 2000 census, the county had 19,224 inhabitants and a population density of 23 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Watkins Glen.
History
The county is named after General Philip Schuyler.
Geography
The county has an area of 886 square kilometers, of which 35 square kilometers are water surface.
