Seán Barrett (Fine Gael)

Seán Barrett (Irish Seán Ó Bairéad, born August 9, 1944 in Dún Laoghaire ) is an Irish politician (Fine Gael ).

Barrett grew up in Dun Laoghaire. He served on the City Council of Dublin ( Dublin City Council ) to eleven years and was in this period from 1981 to 1982 its chairman. In 1981, Barrett was first elected to the Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish Parliament. After several successful elections he resigned in 2002 to run again.
