Paddy Power (Irish politician)

Patrick " Paddy " Power (Irish Pádraig de Paor, born November 19, 1928 in Dublin, † August 14 2013 in Caragh, Naas, County Kildare ) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician.

Biography

Power was after graduation, first as a teacher ( National Teacher ) operates. His political career began in 1969 with the election of deputies ( Teachta Dala ) of the lower house ( Dáil Éireann ). There he represented until 1989, the interests of Fianna Fáil in the constituency of Kildare. At the same time, he represented the interests of Ireland from 1977 to 1979 in the European Parliament.
